PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform control of comfortable air-conditioning operation at a low cost in an air conditioner carrying out air-conditioning by radiation. SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises an inlet port, a heat exchanger, an outlet port, a radiation panel, an intake air temperature sensor, a heat exchanger temperature sensor, and a control part. The heat exchanger regulates the temperature of air sucked from the inlet port. The outlet port blows off air regulated in temperature by the heat exchanger. The radiation panel is formed of a fibrous material with a predetermined radiation rate, formed with an internal space supplied with air blown off from the outlet port, and provided at a ceiling surface. The intake air temperature sensor detects the temperature of air sucked from the inlet port. The heat exchanger temperature sensor detects the temperature of an indoor heat exchanger. The control part computes a ceiling surface radiation temperature which an indoor person receives from the ceiling surface, from the intake air temperature detected by the intake air temperature sensor and the heat exchanger temperature detected by the heat exchanger temperature sensor, and controls air-conditioning operation based on the ceiling surface radiation temperature.
