<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively restrict generation of cracking or separation close to a belt end in spite of simple structure and low cost. <P>SOLUTION: Reinforcement cords 31 embedded in a wide belt ply 27 are composed of normal diameter reinforcement cords 31a and small diameter reinforcement cords 31b disposed alternately. Both outer ends of the small diameter reinforcement cords 31b are extended up to between both outer ends 43 of the normal diameter reinforcement cords 31a and both width direction outer ends 44 of the widest belt ply 26. Therefore, shearing distortion due to grounding is generated between the outer ends 43 of the normal diameter reinforcement cords 31a and the widest belt ply 26, and between both outer ends 42 of the small diameter reinforcing cords 31b and the widest width belt ply 26, thereby shearing distortion is dispersed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
