PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multistage reciprocating compressor having a smaller clearance ratio to contribute to improve volume efficiency. SOLUTION: The multistage reciprocating compressor has a plurality of reciprocating compression parts 3A for compressing gas in multistages. A valve mechanism 13A is integrally provided with suction valves 21A, 22A for sucking gas into the reciprocating compression parts 3A and discharge valves 31A, 32A for discharging the gas compressed by the reciprocating compression parts 3A.
