PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the miniaturization of an imaging module equipped with a flexible substrate which is arranged to electrically connect an external circuit board to a shutter unit which moves in a housing. SOLUTION: The imaging unit includes the shutter unit 6 which is incorporated with a housing 11 and integrally formed with a lens 22 which moves in an optical axis direction, and the ribbon part 621 of the flexible circuit board 62 electrically connected to the shutter unit 6 is electrically connected to the external part while the ribbon part 621 extends along the rear side of the shutter unit 6 in a curved state in the optical axis direction, when the shutter unit 6 is moved in the optical axis direction, the curvature of the ribbon part 621 is nearly kept constant, then, it is impossible to fold the ribbon part 621, and the deforming force of the ribbon part 621 is small, then, the load of a driving motor 7 for moving the shutter unit 6 is reduced, then, a compact motor is usable so as to reduce power consumption. It is unnecessary to secure a recessed cavity in the housing part 11 in order to deform the ribbon part 621, then, the outside dimension of the housing is reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
