LENS CENTERING APPARATUS, LENS CENTERING METHOD AND LENS CENTERING PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform lens-centering with uniform accuracy by calculating the eccentricity of a target in accordance with different-shaped lenses. SOLUTION: The lens centering method comprises; a measuring eccentric circle forming step of forming a measuring eccentric circle while irradiating the lens with light emitted from a light source based on the light reflected from the lens when the lens is rotated; a lens parameter obtaining step of obtaining the necessary parameter of the lens to be measured; a target eccentric circle forming step of forming a target eccentric circle based on the obtained parameter; and an allowable extent judging step of comparing the size of the measuring eccentric circle formed at the measuring eccentric circle forming step and the size of the target eccentric circle formed at the target eccentric circle forming step and judging whether the measuring eccentric circle is within an allowable extent or not based on the comparison result.
