PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a level balance gain for variation in color temperature easily without increasing the circuit scale. SOLUTION: The video signal processor comprises a level balance circuit 61 for arranging the brightness level dependent on the difference in color of each pixel between pixel signals included in a video signal by multiplying the brightness components of pixel signals S1R, S2R, S1B and S2B by the gain of each color G_s1r, G_s1b, G_s2r and G_s2b, table memories (RAM10A, nonvolatile memory 11) for holding the relation between color temperature and gain for each color, and a section (OPD8) for calculating color temperature, based on the video signal.
