PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving device which is capable of making transmission control information stable and achieving initial pull-in even while errors occur frequently. SOLUTION: The receiving device is equipped with a demodulation circuit 5a which demodulates digital broadcast signals SD and transmission control information ST1 that identifies the transmission system of the digital broadcast signals SD on the basis of transmission signals transmitted by the frame, a buffer circuit 7 which holds the transmission control information ST2 of at least one frame period, a multiplex circuit 6a which subjects the transmission control information ST1 demodulated by the demodulation circuit 5a and the transmission control information ST2 held by the buffer circuit 7 periodically to multiplex processing by the one frame and supplies the multi-processed transmission control information ST3 to the buffer circuit 7, and a first error correction circuit 8a which subjects the multi-processed transmission control information ST3 to an error correction demodulation process.
