PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus, the size reduction of which is attained without losing a substantial function of the imaging apparatus, by optimizing the layout of a battery containing chamber and an electric circuit board. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus including a container chamber for containing at least first and second batteries, includes a board arranged in a prescribed direction together with the container chamber, and a first member connected to the board and located between a position at which the first battery is contained and the board, and the container chamber is characterized, such that a contained position of the second battery is closer to the board than a container position of the first battery.
