PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic suspension device capable of efficiently carrying out energy regeneration by a motor, and improving charging efficiency of a power supply. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic suspension device is provided with a first member, a second member showing relative movement to the first member, and the motor M capable of at least suppressing the relative movement. When a necessary load to be output is lower than the most efficiently charging load wherein the charging efficiency of the power supply E by generation of the motor M becomes maximum to stroke speed, a d-phase current is controlled to be higher efficiency that the charging efficiency at the time of generation of the necessary load while generating the necessary load, thereby carrying out efficient charging control.
