PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a driving wheel improving assembling work efficiency onto a vehicle, and stabilizing quality by preventing the damage to parts at the time of disassembling/assembling; and an axle module equipped with the same. SOLUTION: The bearing device for the driving wheel comprises an outer member 7, a wheel mounting flange 5 at one end portion, and an inner member 8 composed of a hub ring 1 formed with a hardened recessed/projecting portion 6 on an periphery and an outside joint member 14 formed with a hollow shaft portion 20. The shaft portion 20 internally fitted in the hub ring 1 is expanded in diameter to be engaged in the recessed/projecting portion 6, thereby plastically uniting the bearing device for the driving wheel. The outer diameter D3 of a fitting surface 7c of the outer member 7 internally fitted with a knuckle N is set to be larger than the outer diameter D1 od the outside joint member 14. A boot adaptor 23 is fitted to an opening portion of the outside joint member 14. The boot adaptor 23 is equipped with a cylindrical portion 23a externally fitted with the outside joint member 14 and a small diameter portion 23c, and a large diameter side end portion of a boot 21 is united to the small diameter portion 23c.
