PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air atomizing gun which is capable of reducing the time loss due to posture alteration of a gun. SOLUTION: The air atomizing gun 1 is provided with a coating discharge port 11 which is opened at the end of a coating nozzle 10, an air hole 21 for atomization to jet compressed air for coating atomization, which is installed at the perimeter of the coating discharge port 11 and air holes 31, 41 for pattern formation to jet compressed air for pattern formation, which are installed to opposite so that they make a pair at the outside of the air hole 21 for atomization centered on the coating discharge port 11.
