An additive cartridge for a hand-held spray gun comprises a liquid pressurizable housing (100) with an elastomeric inner liner (120) from which concentrate is expelled into an integral chamber (150) to mix with the diluent liquid, e.g. water. Dosage is adjustable as a function of the bulk liquid pressure. Independent claims are also included for the following: (i) a water-based spraying system; and (ii) a hand-held spray gun, particularly for horticultural chemicals.
