A pressure sensitive adhesive sheet 1 comprises a base material 11 and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer 12, and has a plurality of through-holes 2 formed therein passing through one face to another face, such that the hole diameter of the through-holes 2 on the surface of the base material 11 is 0.1 to 42 µm, the outer diameter of a recess 21 at the peripheral edge of the through-holes 2 on the surface of the base material 11 is not greater than 60 µm, and the modulus of elasticity in tension of the base material 11 is 190 to 600 MPa. The through-holes of the pressure sensitive adhesive sheet 1 allow preventing or eliminating an air trapping and a blister, while the pressure sensitive adhesive sheet 1 exhibits good appearance, with the through-holes being invisible to the naked eye, even when the pressure sensitive adhesive sheet 1 is stretched. |
