PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pants type disposable diaper which is not easily slid down due to the action of a wearing person or the like while the diaper is worn. SOLUTION: A leg part elastic member disposed at the peripheral edge part of a leg opening is composed of an abdominal side elastic member 82 fixed near the abdominal side part A of a crotch part C and a back side elastic member 81 fixed near a back side part B and is not disposed in an area 183 between an area 182 where the abdominal side elastic member 82 is fixed and an area 181 where the back side elastic member 81 is fixed. An elastic member for raising side parts is disposed along the longitudinal direction near both side edges of an absorptive core, and both side parts of the absorptive core are erected when the diaper is worn. When the diaper is worn, the wearing pressure of an area 91 abutted on a part from the iliac crest to the anterior superior iliac spine of a wearing person is made higher than the wearing pressure of a waist opening.
