PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a geared motor in which a large deceleration ratio can be obtained even if there is dimensional restriction and whose cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: In the geared motor 7, a speed reducer 40 for reducing rotation output of a DC motor 11 and transmitting it to an output shaft 19 is arranged inside a cylindrical case 16 whose outer diameter size is almost constant in a motor axial direction L. The speed reducer 40 is provided with a strange planet gear speed reducer 20 on an input side and a planet gear speed reducer 30 on an output side. A reduction ratio of the strange planet gear speed reducer 20 is 78.2. The reduction ratio of the planet gear speed reducer 30 is 5, and the reduction ratio as the whole speed reducer 40 is 391.
