PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile receiver which immediately prints a received print job by some other printer and contributes to the energy saving. SOLUTION: The facsimile receiver comprises a means for retrieving a starting printer, i.e., selecting already starting printers to use, and preventing idling printers from newly starting to avoid consuming the preheating power; a means for informing an addressed person of the print job of a retrieved printer's ID, thereby enabling a user to know which printer prints the received print job addressed to him; and a management table for managing the IDs of printers to be used by addressed persons and the conditions of executing the transfer.
