PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load sensor capable of implementing reliable load measurement with sufficient accuracy, using magnetic material with small impact of magnetic aftereffect and high constancy of inductance. SOLUTION: The load sensor is equipped with: a sensor body part 1 in the form of rectangular plate prepared on a principal surface so as to produce distortion in answer to stress (a load bearing direction by an arrow) imposed on a pressure surface while comprising of a magnetic material with a hole part formed close to an end side neighboring to the pressure surface in another direction; and a detector for winding a coil 2 to a edge surface neighboring to an inner hole wall of the sensor body part 1 and the hole part. Also, the load sensor is configured to detect the distortion generated, according to stress, at an asymmetric closed magnetic path-magnetic circuit section composed of the pressure surface and the detector, as a variation of inductance, since the sensor body part 1 uses that where the compressive stress more than 100 kgf/cm<SP>2</SP>in the load bearing measuring direction to the pressure surface is load processed prior to assembly of the detector.
