PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature controller capable of simultaneously and automatically starting a plurality of channels in the same track by simple algorithm. SOLUTION: The plurality of channels for controlling input amounts to heating elements 3<SB>1</SB>-3<SB>5</SB>in response to signals from temperature sensors 4<SB>1</SB>-4<SB>5</SB>are provided, and the temperature controller is provided with a determination means for determining the channel started latest among the plurality of channels as a leader and determining the channels other than the leader as followers, and a control means for making the followers determined in the determination means follow the leader by turning on/off inputs to the heating elements so as not to pass the leader and thus performing the follower control of simultaneously starting the plurality of channels in the same track.
