PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for sloping a bottom surface of a rainwater storage tank so that sunken sand in the rainwater storage tank can be easily removed. SOLUTION: This storage tank or infiltration tank, in which a unit member 2 is arranged, the periphery of which is covered with a sheet and which is installed under the ground, is characterized as follows: a foundation surface 3 for installing the tank 1 is sloped; an inclined plane 4, which is vertically raised from one side of the foundation surface, is provided; and the tank is stably assembled between the foundation surface and the inclined surface, so that sand and silt in the tank can be easily removed by being accumulated along the inclination of the bottom of the tank.
