PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solidified substance of a slurry material easily carrying out solidification treatment by solid-liquid separation even if the solid component of the slurry material is fine and has a hardly entwined shape such as honing sludge, and make a filter used in solid-liquid separation and attached not to cause environmental pollution. SOLUTION: This solidified substance SB of the slurry material comprises a solidified substance main body SBa solidifying the slurry material into a column shape by compression, and fibrous and paper filters 4 and 5 attached to both end faces of this solidified substance main body SBa. The filters 4 and 5 are filters for solid-liquid separation used during compression and made into a state of attachment to the solidified substance main body SBa during its compression process. The slurry material S to be a material is sludge generated by honing processing, super processing and wrapping processing of a steel material, and the sludge of general grinding processing; and in addition to this, may be food refuse such as bean-curd refuse and an adzuki bean cake, pulp refuse, dewatered sludge, super steel and the slurry material of glass powder.
