PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjuster for a chain-like accessory capable of being easily adjusted in chain diameter irrespective of its kind and size and a chain-like accessory using the same. SOLUTION: The adjuster comprises an adjuster body (2), an adjusting chain (3) piercing the adjuster body (2), a locking means (6) for applying a sliding resistance to the adjusting chain (3) inside the adjuster body (2), a fitting part (4) provided at the base end of the adjusting chain (3) for fitting the adjusting chain (3) to the chain (8) of the chain-like accessory. The chain-like accessory is constructed by fitting one end of the chain (8) to the adjuster (1), and the other end of the chain (8) to the fitting part (4) of the adjuster (1).
