The positioning device has a central part (101) having a centric opening (106) such as a rectangular square, in the cross section and having two sides (108) which can be fastened at right angles to an adjusting block (109, 110). A quick release part (102) has an opening having appropriate pegs (112) with smaller dimensions than the opening and which are insertable into the opening. Between the main part and quick release part, a rigging plate (103) of arbitrarily selectable thickness is applied which has in the opening a congruent opening (116). The peg is fastened to the main part.
