<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the adhesion of the sludge, etc., in sewage to side walls and to solve the problem of malodors, etc., by supporting an aerator in the water surface position in the central part of a rectangular tank by the float and frame of the aerator with four struts and mooring the aerator in such a manner that the direction of the sewage discharged from the aerator faces the four corners of the rectangular tank. SOLUTION: The aerator 1 is constituted by erecting the four struts 12 on the float 11 floating on the water surface of the aeration tank 2 of the rectangular shape, disposing the frame 13 above the same and arranging a motor 14 of the aerator 1 at this frame 13 and is constituted to agitate and aerate the sewage by rotating an impeller 15 in the water by means of this motor 14. The aerator 1 is held afloat on the sewage surface by the float 11 and the float 11 or frame 13 of the aerator 1 is moored by a plurality of mooring wire ropes and is so arranged that the aerator 1 exists in approximately the central part of the aeration tank 2 of the rectangular shape. As a result, the sewage 4 discharged from the aerator 1 heads toward the four corners of the aeration tank 2 and, therefore, the amount of the foreign matter, such as the sludge in the sewage to be deposited on the side walls 21 may be decreased.</p> |
