PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor which can form an image of high picture quality having no image defect and which has excellent durability and to provide an electrophotographic method, an electrophotographic device and a process cartridge for the electrophotographic device by using the electrophotographic photoreceptor which can form an image of high picture quality having no image defect and which has excellent durability. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic photoreceptor having at least an intermediate layer and a photosensitive layer on a conductive supporting body, the intermediate layer contains at least a binder resin and two kinds of titanium oxides having >=99.0% purity and different average particle sizes. The average particle size (D1 ) of the one titanium oxide (T1 ) and the average particle size (D2 ) of the other titanium oxide (T2 ) satisfy the relation of 1/5<D2 /D1 <=1/2. |
