A method for managing an image file in a mobile communication terminal and the mobile communication terminal are provided to set up a tag for classifying and managing the image file, thereby enabling a user to conveniently manage a desired image file and reducing inconvenience that the user has to input tags by receiving recommended tags. A mobile communication terminal(100) comprises the followings: a memory(190) storing arbitrary image files; and a control unit(120) setting up a tag for classifying and managing the image file and manages the image file by associating the tag with the image file, wherein the control unit(120) transmitting image file information to a server in order to set up the tag for classifying the image file and including a tag selected among recommended tags received from the server into the image file to manage the image file. |
