STEAM APPARATUS OF DISH WASHER

A steam generating apparatus of a dish washer is provided to reduce heat loss and improve the heat efficiency by reducing the moving path of the steam and to preclude impurities from being flowed by forming the steam valve in the steam pipe. A steam generating apparatus(10) of a dish washer is composed of: a water container(15) supplied with the washing water through a water supply pipe; a heater(20) installed in the water container to heat the water; an air brake(40) integrally formed with the water container; a steam pipe(12) communicated with the water container and the air brake as a steam supply pipe; a sump pipe(13) for discharging the washing water of the water container after generating the steam; and sump valves(14) mounted at the lower side of the water container and in the sump pipe. The steam valve is contained in the steam pipe. A water level sensor is placed in the water container to sense the water supply amount of the washing water.
