An object of the present invention is to provide a method for inducing the differentiation of and/or promoting the proliferation of regulatory T cells, an immunosuppressive method using these methods, and pharmaceutical compositions for use in these methods. Furthermore, a method for inducing the differentiation of and/or promoting the proliferation of regulatory T cells and a method for immunosuppression using such methods are provided, which involve causing an agonist of a GIP anchored protein to act on T cells expressing the GIP anchored protein.
