<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas purifying device to improve trapping efficiency and combustion removal efficiency for particulate materials in exhaust gas emitted from a diesel engine. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust gas purifying device includes an insulative honeycomb structure (10) and at least a pair of flat electrodes (20-24) and performs trapping and combustion for particulate materials, and constitutes an exhaust gas purifying device which is formed that a pair of flat electrodes (20-24) are respectively situated at the two outside surfaces, opposed to each other, of the honeycomb structure (10) and performs trapping and combustion of particulate materials. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
