The cleaning device has a cleaner (9) associated with discharge opening for cleaning media and which can be fed in and out of the inner chamber of a heat transmitter. The cleaner is mounted on movable slots (13) which are, in turn, arranged on a rotary plate (14) that is movable, to-and-fro, in a radial direction. The rotary plate is rotatably arranged upon the upper part of the heat transmitter. The cleaner may have a cleaning media guide pipe (10) with an end-side cleaning head (11). The pipe movement may be controllable via a conveyor unit (16) and/or a guide unit (17).
