PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a battery capacity meter by which the accuracy of the battery capacity meter loaded on an electric car can be improved. SOLUTION: In the travelling of a vehicle, the power capacity indicating the dischargeable output of the battery and the integrated capacity in the charge and discharge of the battery are determined (S30), and in the start of the charging, a setting ratio (s) for correcting the integrated capacity corresponding to the power capacity is stored in an internal ROM in advance for every depth of discharge DOD, the setting ratio (s) corresponding to the depth of discharge at the stop of the travelling is referred from the internal ROM (S90), and then the integrated capacity of the battery is corrected on the basis of this setting ratio (s) and the power capacity calculated in advance (S95), for calculating the residual capacity of the battery by the power integrating method by using the integrated capacity after the correction. |
