PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging apparatus which can charge a handy terminal battery and a spare battery without requiring the capacity increase of a DC electric power source. SOLUTION: When it is found that two handy terminals 10 are together set in slot parts, a charging control part 52 supplies electric power only to the sides of these two handy terminals 10. When it is judged that either one of the two handy terminals 10 or none of them is set in the slot parts, electricity is supplied also to a spare battery 13 side together to the sides of the two handy terminals 10. In this way, even in the case two handy terminals 10 and a spare battery 13 are set in all of slot parts 2, electricity is not supplied to all of the two handy terminals 10 and the spare battery 13, so that a DC electric power source having a high capacity is not required to use as the DC power source 50 and the cost of the charging apparatus 2 can be lowered. |
