<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magnetic disk substrate-abrading composition capable of giving a magnetic disk small in the surface roughness, having no projections nor abrasion scars, and achieving high density recording, and capable of performing polishing at an economical speed. SOLUTION: This composition for abrading a magnetic disk substrate comprises water, silicone oxide, an antigelling agent, aluminum nitrate and hydrogen peroxide.</p> |
