Joint prosthesis e.g. knee-joint prosthesis has an elastically deformable element, which comprises a damping element and spring element. The elastically deformable element is arranged in the first component (2) of the joint prosthesis. The elastically deformable element can be deformed in anterior-posterior direction than in medial-lateral direction.
