<p>The device has an electronic transmission control unit (41) computing load, which acts on a clutch, and determining a driving resistance based on the load. The electronic control unit prevents generation of a gear shift up signal and maintains an initial gear, if the determined resistance is high. The load is computed by the integration of the product of clutch torque and the difference of engine and clutch speeds.</p> |
