A nut assembling apparatus for an insulation plate for a junction box and a method thereof are provided to automatically mount nuts on the insulation plate by spacing two end nuts, clamping two pairs of nuts on a head, and moving the nuts to a predetermined position. A nut assembling apparatus comprises a supply unit(110), a positioning unit(120), a head, and a mounting unit(140). The supply unit includes a supply tank(112) for storing and supplying nuts(40) to be fitted to an insulation plate(50) of a junction box; and a linear(114) for supplying nuts in two rows from the supply tank. The positioning unit is arranged at a lower end of the linear of the supply unit, and fixes two pairs of nuts in a lengthwise direction of the linear by the width of the insulation plate, and raises the nuts to a predetermined height. The head is fixed on a working table(100), and picks up two pairs of nuts at the same time. The mounting unit transfers the head and puts the two pairs of heads on a predetermined position of the insulation plate at the same time. |
