A radiowave relay system and method, and a mobile terminal for the same are provided to transfer radiowaves to a mobile terminal having a low RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indicator) value, as the mobile terminal is located in a cell boundary area, thereby offering voice or multimedia services to users with good radiowave quality. A radiowave quality checking part in a radiowave relay system checks the radiowave quality of each mobile terminal in the coverage of a cell(S101). Then, the quality checking part confirms whether the RSSI of a specific mobile terminal drops below a preset level(S103). In case RSSI of the specific mobile terminal drops below the preset level, the quality checking part informs a relay terminal selection part that RSSI of the specific mobile terminal is getting lowered below the preset level. The relay terminal selection part selects a relay mobile terminal for relaying radiowaves to the specific terminal according to preset conditions(S105). A radiowave transmitting part transmits radiowaves, including ID information of the specific mobile terminal, to the selected relay mobile terminal so that the radio waves can be transferred to the specific mobile terminal(S107).
