During a white balance adjustment, images having different white balances are displayed in a plurality of areas of a screen (201) of a display (200) according to a red color video signal Rout, a green color video signal Gout, and a blue color video signal Bout which are outputted from a gamma correction device (30). After this, a user compares the images having the different white balances displayed in areas A to I of the screen (201) of the display (200) and presses a touch panel of the screen (201) so as to select one of the areas. According to the red color video signal Rout, the green color video signal Gout, and the blue color video signal Bout which are outputted from the gamma correction device (30), the image of the selected area is displayed on the entire surface of the screen (201) of the display (200). ® KIPO & WIPO 2007
