The present invention refers to a device for cleaning surfaces, which comprises a suitably arranged yarn bundle; a wire located about the yarn bundle which is twisted so as to form a fluffed yarn tuft; a fixing insert having apertures through which fastening tips, previously heated, are inserted for firmly attaching the fixing insert and the cleaning tuft; a handle and a hanging insert for hanging the device on any hook. The inventive device is useful for cleaning any surface; it is accurately and safely operated without bringing the user's hands into contact with fungi or dust.
