Processes for preparing a diclazuril-containing pharmaceutical composition are provided to uniformly distribute diclazuril in the composition, reduce the preparation steps and costs by avoiding additional equipments, and avoid environmental pollution and worker's unsafety by using no organic solvent or pH increasing agent. The process for preparing the diclazuril-containing pharmaceutical composition comprises the steps of: mixing diclazuril with a first excipient for animal fodder; adding a binder solution into the mixture, or sequentially adding water-soluble binder and water into the mixture to form granules; and mixing the granules with a second excipient for animal fodder, wherein the amount of the first excipient for animal fodder is 1-20 wt.%; 50 wt.% or more of the granules have diameters of 16 to 100 mesh; the first or second excipient for animal fodder is glucose, wheat flour or soybean cake; and the binder solution is prepared by dissolving a water-soluble binder selected from 1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone and vinyl acetate copolymer, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, hydroxypropylcellulose and polyvinylalcohol in water.
