#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves encoding a sound signal (5) into an encoded sound signal (5e), so that the signal (5e) is diffusible by a sound diffusion unit (8) in a manner inaudible to a human ear (7). The signal (5) is encoded by making a frequency shift of the signal (5) towards high inaudible frequencies of diffusion spectrum of the unit (8). One of the signals is transmitted in an audible manner and the other signal is transmitted in an inaudible and wireless manner, without the need for any additional unit, to the receiver, so that the receiver can diffuse the signal in an audible manner. The former signal can be transmitted with a constant volume in spite of variations of the amplitude due to variation of distance between the transmitter and the receiver.
