A vehicle wheel assembling apparatus and method is provided to regularly increase the torque of a combining member to the set torque by automatically combining the combining member to a first sensing unit. A vehicle wheel assembling apparatus comprises a lathe(100) mounting a wheel(10) combined to a first sensing unit(700) with a combining member by a first set torque; an alignment unit(300) mounted on the lathe to align the position of the combining member; and a combining unit(500) sitting on the lathe, transmitting torque to the combining member, and gradually increasing the torque until the combining member reaches a second set torque. The lathe is composed of a table(110) where the wheel is placed, a leg(130) mounted on a lower surface of the table to support the table; and a vertical plate(150) vertically installed to the table. |
