The water distributor for a showering tub contains a flat body (2), and which at the top side a skid-proof walking area (3) for the user is provided. A connecting piece (4) connects with the water supply. The flat body (2) contains a nozzle (5, 5a-5g) connected to a water pipeline (6, 6a-6g) with the connecting piece (4) delivering a water jet upwards. The jet is manually adjustable, so that the strength of the jet is varied as desired by the user.
