The method involves presenting a tapered zone (5) on another tapered zone comprising a preset draft angle, where the former zone comprises another draft angle larger than the angle of the latter zone. The former zone has a diamond shaped pattern (6) extending along an angle lower than the latter angle so that the pattern presents a part (9) reentering in the former zone and a part (10) in slight projection. The part (9) is above the diagonal (D, D`) of the pattern and the part (10) is below the diagonal of the pattern. An independent claim is also included for a horticultural pot obtained conforming to a decorative diamond shaped pattern forming method.
