An apparatus for controlling a source voltage of an organic electro-luminescent display(OELD) device is provided to represent accurate colors by maintaining the brightness of the OELD during an effective lifetime of the display device. An apparatus for controlling a source voltage of an OELD includes an OELD panel(214), an OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode,216), a temperature sensor(218), a voltage regulator(226), and a source voltage driver(202). The OLED is formed in the OELD panel and includes an organic light emitting layer. The temperature sensor measures the heat, which is generated at the OLED, and generates temperature data. The voltage regulator determines the source voltage, which is applied on the OLED, according to the temperature data from the temperature sensor. The source voltage driver applies the source voltage to a source electrode of a driving TFT(Thin Film Transistor).
