A wire type spare tire carrier device is provided to prohibit a worker from being injured because of a wheel notch unit or a carrier notch unit by modifying combining structure. A wire type spare tire carrier device comprises a shaft(41) vertically connected with a guide pipe(42) where a wire pass through; a spare tire supporting member mounted on an upper unit of the shaft and downwardly hinged; a spring installed on the shaft to provide compressing and expanding force when the supporting member of the spare tire downwardly moving; a hinge structure mounted on the upper and lower units of the spring so as to allow the supporting member of the spare tire to hinge. The hinge structure is composed of a base ring(43) mounted at the shaft at the upper end of the spring to downwardly move a central part of the spare tire supporting member, a support ring(49) installed at the shaft to support a lower unit of the spring, and first and second supporting bar(46,47) connected with each lower unit of first and second spare tire supporting members(44,45) and right and left sides of the support ring.
