<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell which is reduced in starting time and can prevent damages or the like of power generating cells caused by thermal strain by local heating and surface temperature difference. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell is provided with a fuel cell stack (3) in which a plurality of power generating cells are laminated, heat radiating means (4) which are installed at the surrounding of the fuel cell stack and increases the temperature of the power generating cells to the power generation reaction starting temperature or more, and radiation plates (5) which are installed between the heat radiating means and the fuel cell stack and absorb heat radiated from the heat radiating means temporarily and radiate to the power generating cells. The radiation plates (5) have a higher coefficient of radiation at the face (52) facing the fuel cell stack than the opposed face (51) to the heat radiating means, and preferably, have the outside dimensions same or more than those of the heat radiating means (4), and are arranged between the fuel cell stacks when a plurality of fuel cell stacks are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
