<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap superior in source segregation discarding performance whose main body can be easily removed from a container mouth part while decrease in an engaging force between the container mouth part and the cap main body is avoided. <P>SOLUTION: In the cap consisting of the cap main body 1 into which the container mouth part is fitted and fixed and an upper lid 2 provided on the cap main body 1 so as to be freely openable and closable, on a cylindrical side wall 6 of the cap main body 1, a tearing region which is tearable into an inside wall part 6a and an outside wall part 6b, and a fixed region which is not tearable, are formed. On one boundary part between the tearing region and the fixed region, a score in the axial direction is formed on the outside wall part from the upper end to the lower end. In the tearing region, the lower end part of the inside wall part is connected to the outside wall part through a tearable thin connecting part 45 by a slit deeply extending downward from the upper end of the thickness part of the cylindrical side wall. In the fixed region, the inside wall part and the outside wall part are integrated into a body, and on the inside wall part in the tearing region, a part where an engaging projection 23 with the container mouth part is not formed, is formed into a thin-walled part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
