<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of achieving the improvement of maintainability and the prolongation of the life of an electrostatic latent image carrier by reducing load imposed on a cleaning member and reducing the scattering of developer into the image forming apparatus when stopping the image forming apparatus urgently from its regular operation state. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1A is equipped with: a photoreceptor drum 3; an electrifier 4; an exposure unit 1; a developing device 2; a transfer belt 103; a destaticizing device 41; a paper peeling pawl 31 peeling paper P stuck to the photoreceptor drum 3; and a solenoid making the paper peeling pawl 31 contact with/separate from the photoreceptor drum 3, and is controlled so that a toner image on the photoreceptor drum 3 may be transferred to the paper by transfer electric field. The apparatus 1A is equipped with a stopping operation control function 63 to stop power distribution to the destaticizing device 41 after stopping power distribution to driving parts for the members other than the destaticizing device 41 in emergency stop. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
