摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily remove the effect of external light or noise in simultaneous parallel execution of light emission and light receipt. <P>SOLUTION: When display of image and light receipt are simultaneously or alternately performed on a display screen, receipt of light incident on the display surface is performed in addition to processing for making the display surface emit light to display the image. The light receipt is performed twice with emission for display and without emission, a difference between the two amounts of light received in a non-contact or non-adjacent state to the display surface is stored as an initial value (step S27).
