<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a position of a worker through a mobile terminal device, acquire ID information peculiar to a work machine and its operation information through the mobile terminal device, and transmit them from the mobile terminal device to a management server to reduce price increases of the work machine. <P>SOLUTION: A work information management system has the mobile terminal device 20 carried by the worker 1 who operates the work machine 10 that has its peculiar ID information, which has a position detection means 21 for detecting a position of the worker 1, work machine information acquisition means 24 and 25 for acquiring operation and ID information on the work machine 10, and a wireless communication means 22 for transmitting the position information detected by the position detection means 21 and the information acquired by the work machine information acquisition means 24 and 25.
